Well I would suggest you check out our topics and see the Kyoto Protocol for yourself. Then you can wikipedia some of the key facts such as world water consumption, global warming and so on. I would suggest you watch Al Gore's movie about global warming "The Inconvenient Truth".

Alright, I have looked at all of them and have been writing my position paper. I have been looking at wikipedia but they dont have much on the Chile's position on global warming and water resources. I have found some information so i am slowly piecing together the information. It is hard because chile is not such a largely politicaly viewed country.

Well Chile has a socialist government I suppose. Socialists are generally very "environment friendly". Thus all of South America is opposing US dominance so why dont you try looking into that as well. And dont force yourself, see what the debate brings out.

Ok. I am about to watch an inconvenient truth like you said. Are you sure the topic with South America being against the United States is going to come up in the envirnomental group?

The movie was pretty intresting. There was lots of information in it. It was a little boring though.

That is just my opinon. He just talks the entire time. It was an intresting topic and all but i dunno i don't like movies like that. Though, it did help me out and made me realize what is really happening to the world and what we are doing.

I'd agree..the Inconvenient Truth was rather boring and I couldn't help but to think about how biased it is. Al Gore portrayed himself as this martyr 'I'm going to save the world' figure, and to be honest, the underlying propaganda undertone annoyed me. A good source for this debate nevertheless.
I guess I'll be seeing you all tomorrow...
